Alfred Perceval

Graves, Irish poet and writer (born July 22, 1846 in Dublin, died. December 27, 1931). Son of the Bishop of Limerick. Educated at Windermere College and later at the Univ ersity of Dublin. He took a prominent part in the revival of Celt ic. Author of numerous ballads: Songs of Old Ireland (1882), Irish Songs and Ballads (1893), Irish Folk-Songs (1897), Songs of Erin (1901) . Poetry (collections from the years 1872, 1879 and i) characterized by its freshness. His son, Robert Graves, was a renowned English poet and prose writer.
